Lane Head Farm is run by husband and wife team Josette and Mark Bayley. The former farmhouse has been lovingly restored and modernised to offer 4 Star accomodation in a charming residence retaining many of its original beams and features. The farm house is superbly located for experiencing all that the Lake District has to offer, yet lies in the quieter and less commercial part of the Northern Lakes.
Activities and amenities available within easy reach of Lane Head include pony trekking, golf, walking, swimming, sailing, fishing and water sports. Should you wish to venture farther afield, the Scottish Borders, Hadrian's Wall and a variety of historic castles can be reached on day trips. Breakfast and a 2 or 3 course evening meal are served here, we offer good quality cuisine using local produce, whenever possible. For those who like a drink with their meal, we offer a selection of wines beers and spirits.

Quaysiders Club is a Timeshare resort situated in a beautiful part of the Lake District opposite Lake Windermere and close to Ambleside town centre (12 minutes walk). We have 18 sleep 6, high quality apartments available for hire by the week and a small number of very nice double and triple hotel style bedrooms available for nightly rentals. All our apartments are identical and include a full Kitchen (dishwasher, fridge/freezer,oven,microwave, four ring hob unit etc), dining room adjoining the lounge (two double seater settees one of which is a double bed settee, TV, DVD Recorder, HiFi and telephone), two bedrooms (one with double bed, TV and a vanity unit and the other with twin beds) and a nice size bathroom (bath, shower, hand basin and toilet). During April to October each apt has its own pattio chairs and table and barbecues are available in the courtyard. Our apartments are refurbished to a high standard and the resort has been a Gold Crown (top award) resort with RCI (the largest exchange company in the world) for Six years. We have a small leisure centre on site which contains a small indoor swimming pool, a sauna and jacuzzi. One car parking space is allocated to each apartment and we have only a few spare car parking spaces. We do not allow any pets on site and all our buildings are non smoking.
