Sympathetically Restored Farmhouse Offering B&B Accomodation Close To Keswick and Ullswater. Lane Head Farm is run by husband and wife team Josette and Mark Bayley. The former farmhouse has been lovingly restored and modernised to offer 4 Star accomodation in a charming residence retaining many of its original beams and features. The farm house is superbly located for experiencing all that the Lake District has to offer, yet lies in the quieter and less commercial part of the Northern Lakes. Activities and amenities available within easy reach of Lane Head include pony trekking, golf, walking, swimming, sailing, fishing and water sports. Should you wish to venture farther afield, the Scottish Borders, Hadrian's Wall and a variety of historic castles can be reached on day trips. Breakfast and a 2 or 3 course evening meal are served here, we offer good quality cuisine using local produce, whenever possible. For those who like a drink with their meal, we offer a selection of wines beers and spirits.

Meadfoot offers bed and breakfast accommodation in a peaceful and quiet setting but within 2 minutes walk of the lively Lake District village of Windermere. The guest house is located on the edge of Windermere village and is therefore ideally situated for the local shops, pubs, restaurants and other amenities. Although close to this bustling and lively Lake District village, Meadfoot is a detached guest house set in its own grounds and has an almost secluded nature. In addition to the private car park there is a large garden with patio and summerhouse for guest use. Sometimes Deer can be seen wandering in the grounds. The bedrooms are tastefully furnished with traditional pine furniture;some are ground floor,some are 4 posters and some have direct access from the room to the garden.
