Ellerbrook House is a friendly place to stay, to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery the Lake District has to offer. We are situated close to the shops, restaurants and cafes of Windermere, yet it's only a ten minute walk to Bowness and the Lake. Whilst there are various ways of exploring the Lakes, local walks from our doorstep offer peace tranquillity and that ‘get away' from it all feel!Please note, unfortunatly, from Easter to the end of October we require a minimum of a 2 night stay.

Montfort Cottage Guest House offers fabulous bed and breakfast accommodation exclusively for non-smokers. Complimentary use of the leisure facilities at Parklands Country Club in Bowness is also included. Facilities offered free of charge include the use of the gym, swimming pool, steam bath and sauna. Don't forget to bring your swimming costume and a towel!There are 4 tastefully decorated contemporary style guest bedrooms at Montfort Cottage, each providing accommodation for up to two people in a double bed. All have en-suite facilities except one, which has sole use of a private bathroom. For that special occasion, honeymoon or romantic weekend, there are two rooms with four poster double beds. Each bedroom comes equipped with a hospitality tray which provides complimentary hot drinks (Cadbury's Hot Chocolate, Nescafe Coffee and PG Tips Teabags), wine glasses, corkscrew and biscuits; colour TV/Video (we offer a free film library): CD/Radio/Alarm clock; cuddly toy; professional 1800 watt hairdryer with diffuser; and a steam iron & ironing board as standard. For stays of three nights or more we include a bottle of red or white wine. Montfort Cottage uses a professional laundry service which provides quality crisp white Egyptian cotton bed linen and soft white fluffy towels. Please note that we do not accept pets and all rooms are non-smoking for the comfort of every guest. Unfortunately Montfort Cottage is unable to accommodate children and so, therefore, is only able to cater for adults over the age of 18.We hope to welcome you to Montfort Cottage in the near future.
