Broadview is a quality, friendly, AA 4*, non-smoking guest house in the heart of the Lake District, Ambleside. Situated a short stroll from the centre of the village and lake Windermere at Waterhead, Broadview is perfect for a holiday or short break, whether you need a base for touring or are exploring the fells on foot. Rockside is a quality 4* Guest House, located less than 2 minutes walk from the rail and bus station, which is owner managed by Martin & Caroline Rockside was built in 1847 using traditional lakeland stone,it is a querky property which is full of character and charm. The en suite rooms are modern and have been individually styled to provide all your modern day comforts, along with retaining many of Rockside original Victorian features. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and at Rockside we give it the justice it deserves, we have a range of options to cater for all tastes, from a more substantial full breakfast to lighter bites and Vegetarian alternatives.
