Ellwood House is a splendid stone built self-catering holiday cottage on the edge of Caldbeck village in the Northern Fells of the Lake District National Park. Located in an elevated position, with views of the open Caldbeck Fells from the rear of the house. High Pike can be seen immediately due south of the cottage in the picturesque expanse known colloquially as 'back o'Skiddaw'. Just 100 yards across the field below you will find Gill Beck which runs through the village with a footpath just behind. Dating back to the 18th century, Ellwood House has retained much of its "olde worlde" charm but with every modern day convenience. With bedrooms upstairs for up to six people with plenty of space, a great house bathroom (recently upgraded), open fire and a quiet secluded rear garden with an adjoining barn providing ample secure storage for mountain bikes, etc.

Riverside Lodge is a privately owned 2 bedroom pine lodge, which provides beautiful self catering accommodation for up to 4 people. It is situated within Limefitt Park, a 5 star park, in one of Lakeland’s most beautiful, yet peaceful valleys, the Troutbeck Valley. Yet the Lodge is only minutes away from the bustle of both Windermere and Ambleside.

The Lodge benefits from its position fronting the Troutbeck river and is secluded with views across the river to the fells and Troutbeck village. This is perfect accommodation for families or couples alike and well behaved pets are welcome!

Situated within walking distance of Cockermouth, High Moor Cottage offers comfortable and stylish accommodation for couples and small families. Cockermouth is a great starting point to explore the Lake District being within easy access of the quieter, western side yet having all the comforts and ease of the services Cockermouth has to offer with its supermarket, butcher, baker, cafes, pubs, restaurants and cinema. Loweswater Lake is High Moor's nearest lake with lovely woodland walks and a tranquil escape from day to day living. For the more energetic, Skiddaw is one of the highest mountains in the Lake District and is a fifteen minute drive away. Or Keswick is twenty minutes away with its busy centre and Derwentwater Lake which has rowing boats, self drive motor boats and the launch.

The last house but one before the road runs out at Wasdale Head, Middle Row Cottage is a detached farmhouse surrounded by the majestic Wasdale mountains. Recently refurbished, Middle Row Cottage offers comfortable and spacious accommodation for up to six people. Kitchen, dining room and sitting room with open fire. There are three bedrooms and one bathroom. Garden with garden furniture. The Wasdale Head Inn is a minute’s walk away. There are hundreds of walks right from the front door – either along the valley floor or up the Wasdale fells including Scafell and Great Gable.
